FIRST EDITION, second issue with the same date as the first edition, but with extra instructions to the bookbinder (see footnote in Landwehr 544), 3 parts in one volume, folio (305 x 195mm.), printed title in red and black, engraved additional title, pagination irregular, folding engraved map, 38 engraved plates some folding, double-page or full-page, text engravings, contemporary blind-stamped vellum, spine lettered in black with raised bands, some repairs to leaves or plates (some crude), light browning and staining (a few damp stains), binding slightly soiled with bowed boards

Condition is described in the main body of the catalogue, where appropriate. Repairs to D, r3, 2T2, 2D2, 2k4, 3o4. Tear to 3O4. Plate 4 with piece of paper missing to bottom. Minor repair to bottom of front paste-down.
