assise en dhyanasana sur une double base lotiforme, la main droite en varada mudra et la gauche en vitarka mudra tenant une tige de lotus s'épanouissant sur l'épaule, vêtue d'un dhoti diaphane aux bords ciselés de motifs floraux et richement parée de bijoux incrustés de pierres dures, les yeux mi-clos incisés sur les paumes des mains et les plantes de pied, le visage à l'expression bienveillante, le front orné d'un troisième oeil et ceint d'un diadème à cinq fleurons, la chevelure rassemblée en un haut double chignon dont quelques mèches retombent sur les épaules, scellée

The figure is in overall very good condition. It is heavily cast and richly gilt, the base is sealed with a copper plate incised with a double vajra, with the front part slightly warped and ajar. The base is inscribed with the number 01891-zzb. There is light overall wear to the gilding particularly to the sides of the waist, neck and forehead. There are inlays missing and traces of red pigment to the lips.
