This weight is in good condition, but does have a number of nicks and minor scratches to the surface throughout. There is some areas of wear/rubbing to the gilding to the underside of the body and to the legs, to the areas that touch the surfaces.

本品造工精巧，銜芝臥鹿形態豐腴，乃文士案前動物造型銅器珍玩之罕例。比較三鎮紙例，同為靈獸造型，出自Robert H. Clague收藏，曾展於《China’s Renaissance in Bronze》，Phoenix Art Museum，鳳凰城，1993年，編號45-47；出自水松石山房收藏，售於香港蘇富比2012年4月4日，編號 129；另可參考一臥獅鎮紙，兩度售於倫敦佳士得，分別為1985年6月14/17日，編號355A及1992年6月8日，編號144。
