Condition
The snuff bottle is in overall good condition with barely perceptible nibbles to the inner footrim, and surface scratches and abrasions from use on both sides.

The glassblower has used his natural tear-drop-shaped interior bubble to great effect here; the bottle has considerable personality because of its eccentric inner bubble.
What is intriguing about this bottle is that it gives as much indication as any of having been freely blown rather than blown into a mould. The exterior surface is almost as eccentric as the interior bubble, and although it is far more likely to have been mould-blown, there is just a chance that it was not.
