the first carved as two persimmons growing from a leafy branch; the second of flattened ovoid form, incised with a prunus branch; the third carved as a fortune sack with bat near the base; and the fourth carved in the form of a wild boar (4)

Persimmon form bottle: The stopper is lodged in the mouth and there are repairs to the stopper. Apart from minute nicks along the edges of the carving the bottle appears to be in good overall condition. Prunus incised bottle: Apart from minute nicks to the mouth rim and light wear to the gilding, the bottle appears to be in good overall condition. Spoon removed. Sack form bottle: Traces of glue on the shoulder and around the mouth. There appears to be a polished chip to the tip of the bat's wing. There is a small irregularity in the stone under one loop of the bow, and nicks along the edges of the carving. Spoon removed. Pig bottle: Minute nicks to the mouth and a nick to the tip of one hoof. Lacking stopper and spoon.
