the first with a broad flat shoulder, inlaid in black and white slip with a band of chrysanthemum scrolls between dotted lines; the second inlaid around the shoulder in black and white slip with chrysanthemum sprigs alternating with pearl clusters; the third decorated in black slip with two leafy sprigs; the fourth covered with a crackled glaze (4)

The first bottle with an approximately 3 cm long area of repair and overpainting to the shoulder, the neck and mouth have been rebuilt, areas of overfiring and stained craze lines. The second with a repair to the mouth and a firing crack to the base. The third with rebuilt neck and mouth with overpainting that has flaked off. The fourth with glaze imperfections such as glaze gaps, overfiring and adhesions to the foot. All with general signs of wear.
