delicately modelled in the form of a furled leaf, the interior set with a stem elegantly looping over the rim, the base with another stem issuing a single lotus bud, applied overall with a milk-white glaze
Condition
The brushwasher appears to be in good overall condition. There is some roughness to the underside where the glaze appears to have bubbled. The lotus leaf has a nick to its edge, but this is under the glaze and there is a burst bubble on its stem. There are minute bumps in the glaze and a pinprick sized iron spots.
