of tapering cylindrical form, the sides molded in relief with a meandering peony scroll flanked by a band of upright lappets around the base and a ruyi-head, key-fret and stiff leaf bands above, covered overall with a clear glaze pooling to a bluish tone in the recesses
Condition
The body of the vase has a long approximately 15 cm vertical hairline crack. There is a small approximate 2 cm hairline crack at the mouth rim. The base has a star crack. The glaze with scattered iron spots.
