each of tapering ovoid form rising to a flared mouth and recessed foot, decorated in bright enamels on the exterior with four gilt-edged medallion panels enclosing a bird in flight with peony and plum blossoms, divided by various flower blooms, all reserved on a pale blue ground incised with feathery scrolls, enameled in iron-red with a Juren Tang zhi (Hall of Dwelling in Benevolence) seal mark (2)

The vases are in overall good condition. Both with a few glaze flakes, one with two of them at the rim, the other with a few to the body and a burst glaze bubble, both with wear to the enamels and gilt around the rims.
