- Porcelain
with shallow rounded sides and a broad everted rim, the interior boldly carved with a single lotus spray within a double line medallion, the well undecorated, with three gently undulating scrolling-leaf sections encircling the rim, covered with a lustrous semi-transparent sea-green glaze, a wide unglazed ring on the base burnt orange-brown in the firing

Condition
In very good condition. A small 3mm glaze flake to the inner rim. The form very slightly warped. Minor firing imperfections, including several small iron spots, glaze pulls and pitting. Characteristic surface wear and scratching to interior.
