The work is in excellent condition overall, as is the canvas, which is clear and taut. Upon close inspection, there are very faint networks of hairline craquelure visible along the left margin, stable and consistent with age. There are very few minor losses to the gold pigment on the right side. Upon close observation, specks of accretion are visible along the left woman's jacket and the right woman's earrings. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals no sign of restoration. Framed.
