The canvas appears to be unlined or is very thinly relined. There is generally very good retention of the paint surface with nice preservation of detail in the fruit. Examination under UV light shows some scattered retouches in background, some around the edges of the plate, and a few at lower right. just a few here and there on fruit. In a carved and gilt wood frame.
