In fair to good condition. The movement was recently serviced which included "a general overhaul, cleaning, oiling and demagnetizing and balance work." The watch is now in perfect, working order. The case is numbered 6142 and the reference number is 4R/93. The movement is ultra-thin with 12-18 jewels, 8 adjustments, #12322. The rubies are medium purplish red and well-matched for color. They range in clarity from lightly to moderately included and the apex of the cabochon exhibits significant surface wear. The diamonds are approximately G-J color, VS-SI clarity. The platinum bears moderate scratching and denting commensurate with wear. The sides of the case are stamped with the French assay mark for platinum which was not mentioned in the printed catalogue. The dial exhibits age in the form of water staining especially at the edges. Length approximately 3 1/4 inches. Accompanied by Cartier Certificate of Authenticity No. NY2007-48 stating that the watch pendant is by Cartier, Paris circa 1914 and that the brooch fitting is not recorded in Cartier's archives.
