Colour and Clarity: According to both Gübelin and AGL reports, the sapphire is natural, of Kashmir origin, with no indications of heating. Gübelin appendix further states that this sapphire "possess a richly saturated and homogeneous colour, combined with a high degree of transparency, and a finely proportioned cut......Such a combination of characteristics is rare in natural Kashmir sapphires of this size." AGL report also rated the Total Quality of this sapphire as "Exceptional - Excellent". Please refer to the reports and appendix for more details. In our opinion, the sapphire is of intense velvety blue colour, eye clean. Under 10x loupe, there is minor zoning but not noticeable to naked eyes in normal lighting. Two diamonds on side together weighing approximately 1.05 carats, are about E to F colours, VS clarity. Other tiny diamonds on shank are about similar quality. Condition: Platinum ring mount, cannot be resized and currently is American size 6, in mint condition.
