of compressed globular form, cast with three bands of lotus lappets in low relief, the first band of pendent lotus lappets around the shoulders, the second upright band encircling the base and the third around the splayed foot, the sides flanked by a pair of protruding lion-head handles, the base with an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark, the patina of a warm reddish-brown colour

Good condition, with just minor dents and surface wear.
