- bronze
of archaistic liding form, well cast with a globular body and a flanged everted rim, set with two square handles and raised on three tubular legs, finely inlaid around the exterior in silver filigree with two phoenix flying among hollyhocks, the base with an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark
Condition
There is some tarnishing to the silver filigree inlays as visible on the photo, some minor nibbling along the edges and the rim, but overall the incense burner is in good condition. The wood cover is repaired with some traces if glue, the wood base is in good condition.
