- Porcelain
painted with scattered flower sprays and smaller sprigs, comprising 92 plates and 10 plates of a larger size, 25 soup plates, 1 side plate, 4 large dishes, a saucer dish, 2 verrières, a small oval double handled sauceboat and stand, 8 oval dishes in two sizes, and four additional oval dishes in various sizes, two large oval tureen and covers in two sizes, and a pair of large circular tureens and covers, a small circular tureen and cover and two additional small circular tureens and covers,
Condition
For a service of this size the general condition is good. It is advisable to inspect the service whilst on public view.
There is typical general stacking wear and scratching;
Of the 92 plates, 16 have a crack and 11 have a form of restoration; One large dish is restored, another has a repaired rim chip; One larger plate with crack to rim; Two soup plates restored, four with a crack;
Two small tureens have chips to finials, the other small tureen, associated, with a restored finial;
one circular tureen cover is restored, another cover has a flat chip to inside rim;
one verrière has two hairline cracks to rim.
