Typical minor glaze chips to both noses, one ear and one gown; other small chips and pitting.

These 'magots' or 'pagoda figures' were made in both porcelain and in faience at various Italian factories, and were especially popular at Cozzi. They were listed in the contemporary sales records as " pago' ". These more humorous and raucous versions, however, seem likely to be have been made at Nove.
