well potted with shallow rounded sides rising from a short foot to a slightly everted rim, the exterior decorated in shaded tones of cobalt-blue with a meandering scroll bearing lotus blossoms and tendrils, between a double-line border and an upright ruyi-shaped lappet band encircling the rim and base respectively, the foot with a single-line border, the interior with a medallion densely decorated with clusters of bamboo leaves alongside a large tree issuing pine needles and prunus blossom borne on thin gnarled branches, the border with a precisely detailed geometric band, the base inscribed with a six-character reign mark within a double-rectangle

The mouthrim has some fritting with associated flakes, a few of which have been filled in (max. 0.5 cm, 8 o'clock). The footring has two original underglazed kiln flakes of approx. 0.9 cm. There is an underglazed branched body line at the 12 o'clock position under the glaze. The dish is slightly warped and has some typical surface wear.
