Condition
Lifting lacquer has been consolidated. Numerous areas of loss and wear have been restored as evident by overpaint. There is extensive craquelure - the most prominent of which appear to have been filled. The surface has been heavily shallacked which has perhaps been heated and pressed to ensure that the lacquer beneath is stabilized. There are small chips to the corners, edges and feet.
