decorated around the exterior in underglaze blue with eight medallions each enclosing a writhing dragon chasing a 'flaming pearl', all reserved on a molded lotus floral scroll ground
Condition
There is a restored shallow chip to the exterior rim of the vase, with an associated crack approx. 1 1/2 in. (3.8 cm) long to the interior. There is another restored chip to the exterior of the rim approx 1/2 in. x 1/2 in. (1.2 x 1.2 cm), with fill that has not been painted over.
