the flattened pear-shaped body rising to a long neck and everted galleried mouth, a high arched handle to one side and a tall gently curving spout to the other connected to the body by an S-form strut, applied all over with a rich cobalt blue glaze and decorated in white slip to either side with a qilin enclosed with an outline to the molded peach-form panel and a stylized trefoil cloud to the neck

Condition
The handle has a restored horizontal break with an associated chip and a noticeable burst glaze bubble.There is a restored break to the strut joining the body and the spout. There has been some restoration to the tip of the spout. There is fritting to the mouth and extensive wear to the body overall.
