naturalistically carved issuing from a gnarled leafy branch, the body formed of rounded undulating 'fingers' evoking Buddha's hand, the stone of celadon color with russet enhancements and white and light gray inclusions
Condition
A 2.5cm wide polished chip to the inside tip of one of the 'fingers'. A polished 2cm wide concave recess to the exterior of the fruit. Small chips to the extremities of the relief carving. Faint cracks to the stone to the foot, with russet skin and inclusions as visible in catalog image.
