the compressed globular body rising from three short conical legs to an everted rim, set at the shoulder with a simple pair of lug handles, the base with apocryphal Xuande mark, the lotus-leaf shaped stand supported on three ruyi feet, the metal patinated to a warm dark brown tone
Condition
The censer and stand are in good condition with the exception of a circa 3x1mm., nick to the rim of the censer.
