The jar is in good condition with the exception of light flaking to the glaze encircling the rim and minor glaze flakes to the lower body on the exterior.

本品器型獨特，與鈞釉水丞相類，紋飾刻畫揮灑自如，現存文獻並無記載相近作例，唯可參考一磁州罐，器型相近，刻花卉紋飾，化妝土與釉層相映成襯，現存於東京出光美術館，圖錄於《中國・磁州窯:なごみと味わい》，東京，2005年，圖版42。
