the rounded sides rising from a slightly tapered foot to a flared rim, the exterior incised and enamelled in green with two scaly dragons striding above cresting waves in pursuit of flaming pearls, the white-glazed base inscribed in underglaze-blue with a six-character reign mark within a double-circle
Condition
There are four hairline rim cracks (approx. 3.6, 3.5, 1.3 and 1 cm., long), and a restored chip approx. 3 x 0.6cm with areas of associated spray to the exterior. There are also three iron spots to the interior of the bowl.
