清雍正 粉彩牡丹海棠紋束腰盌一對 《大清雍正年製》款

One bowl with a tiny chip to the rim, the other with a small glaze pull near the base of the interior, and an approx. 0.7cm glaze hairline above the magnolia, but in overall good condition. Both with areas of small loss to the enamels and tiny burst bubbles around the rim.

雍正年間，藝匠巧創各式花卉紋飾，本對盌即為一例，繪牡丹、海棠、玉蘭怒放，枝葉蜿蜒盌身。如此紋飾，乃由雍正及乾隆早年督陶官唐英（1682-1756）新創。唐英試驗以含砷元素之鉛白製釉料，創製多種粉彩顏色，從而創新繪瓷風格。本品盌身牡丹、玉蘭乃受清代明家惲壽平（1633-1690）花卉畫啟發。惲氏花卉常作紅、紫、綠等色，以鉛白調色，作各式不透明柔及粉色。如此技巧，與瓷上白彩運用如出一轍。

比較一對例，售於紐約佳士得1979年11月20日，編號272。北京故宮博物院亦藏一例，尺寸較小，圖見《故宮珍藏康雍乾瓷器圖錄》，香港，1989年，頁1989，圖版47；另一例售於香港蘇富比1975年11月17日，編號119。

本盌紋飾寓意吉祥，牡丹乃富貴花、並繪玉蘭海棠，寄玉堂富貴之願。
