There is a hairline crack from the rim to the base approx. 4.3cm long with associated overpainting.

本盌紋飾屬雍正早期典型，承康熙始創風格。Hugh Moss論述，此類五彩盌應為雍正元年及二年間製於景德鎮，其時景德鎮藝匠未諳粉彩之運用，粉彩紋飾，首見於北京宮廷造辦處，詳見《By Imperial Command. An Introduction to Ch’ing Imperial Painted Enamels》，香港，1976年，頁82。

台北故宮博物院收藏一例，曾展於《金成旭映：清雍正琺瑯彩瓷》，2012年，編號17；上海博物館也藏一例，圖見《中國陶瓷全集》，卷21，京都，1981年，圖版105；另可參考兩例，圖見Hugh Moss，出處同上，圖版77及78，其一出自Maze Foundation，其二為成對盌例，出自Barry Dinan收藏，曾售於倫敦佳士得1974年，後兩度易手於香港蘇富比1979年5月22日，編號237及1993年10月26日，編號144；英國鐵路基金會收藏一對，售於香港蘇富比1989年5月16日，編號72，繼售於香港佳士得1994年5月1/3日，編號738；再比一例，John F. Woodthorpe收藏，售於倫敦蘇富比1994年5月3日，編號215，後於香港蘇富比1994年5月3日易手，編號215。此類盌亦有略施粉彩紋飾者，應為較後期製，台北故宮博物院收藏一例，曾展於《金成旭映：清雍正琺瑯彩瓷》，出處同上，編號16；另一例現藏吉美博物館，巴黎，Grandidier遺贈，圖見Hugh Moss，出處同上，圖版79；作者應為該例製於1722及1728年間。

珊瑚紅地五彩盌者，亦有施黃彩牡丹，兩例現藏故宮博物院，出處同上，編號18及19；另一例出自E. Cohen收藏，售於倫敦蘇富比1974年12月2/3日，編號484。
