There are a number of age splits to the head and face, with a particularly long split approx. 40cm. to the side of the face. There are areas of loss to both sides of the crown, to the ribbon on the back of the head, the back of one ear and two sections to the top of the crown which has been restored with associated overpainting. There is the expected flaking and loss overall to the pigmentation on the surface.
