the raised tapered foot rising to a rounded body and flaring rim, the exterior carved with a continuous band of scrolling lotus below a border of angular scrolls and covered in a pale celadon glaze, the interior lightly incised with wispy clouds encircling a central shou character and the cavetto with two dragons chasing flaming pearls among flame and cloud scrolls, the base inscribed with a six-character reign mark within a double-circle
Condition
In overall good condition. There are two small firing flaws, one below the outer rim measuring approx. 0.2 cm and the other approx. 0.7 cm on the interior of the slightly warped bowl.
