The semi-translucent yellow jadeite of amber colour with light lavender splashes, carved as the Longevity Immortal ﹙壽星公﹚ with a peach in his arms, within an outer shell carved with yuanbao and bat motifs.

Colour and Clarity: According to the Jadeite Jade Testing Certificate, the yellow jadeite “Longevity Immortal and Peach” carving is natural, Type "A" Jadeite Jade. Please refer to the certificate for details. In our opinion, the yellow jadeite ornament is semi-translucent, of intense orange-yellow colour to its outer layer and lighter tone to the inner sider suffused with a splash of light purple hue on the face of the immortal. Upon close look, there are white clouds throughout the carving, very common in jadeite carving and generally do not distract the overall visual beauty of the piece. Condition: Nice craftsmanship, well use of natural colour layers in jadeite boulder, presenting an auspicious Chinese immortal, in very good condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. The purchaser's inability to import any item into the U.S. or any other country as a result of these or other restrictions shall not justify cancellation or rescission of the sale or any delay in payment.
