釋文：乾隆甲午（1774）八月，余與編脩金越亭奉命枚理內府圖書。次日復旨，蒙上賜馬遠是幀，并劉松年《明皇觀舞圖》卷。拜賞自天，感惶無地。古人論馬遠畫，謂「刻畫不滯，變化出神」，誠為谲宕奇妙，至以真靈。招入囊中，放出以似其飄渺之象。是以後世學者多入魔道，其自言曰「畫積惰氣而強之者，跡軟懦而不快，此不注精之病也；積昏氣而泊之者，長黯猥而不爽，此神不与俱成之病也。」以是觀之，畫之一事過於書法多矣。此圖為閱微草堂至寶。越二載，庚申（1800）七月，臣紀昀沐手敬書。
