of European form, with the tall stem rising from a domed circular base rising to a lotus bud terminal and open lotus-form drip pan, surrounded by four foliate-form branches and similar drip pans

The candlestick is leaning slightly to one side. There are extensive areas of restoration, overpainting, and crazing to the enamels, in particular to the petal tips of the drip pans, the scrolling handles, and the edge of the base. One drip pan is loose but still attached. There are other areas of restoration, discolouration, losses and crazing to the enamels.
