One candleholder with the head, right hand and left arm of the foreigner and the top of the candle receiver broken and restored, with traces of glue and infill visible. There are other minor areas of overpainting/restoration visible elsewhere. There are chips/losses around the extremities of the holder, including the rim of the quatrefoil drip pan and the front right corner of the base. The other candleholder show minor signs of restoration to the front edges of the sleeves and elsewhere. There are chips/losses to the front edge and the back corners of the base. Both holders with minor losses to the extremities. The enamels show general flaking and minor losses/wear. Other glaze firing imperfections include firing cracks (especially to the base), fritting and iron spots, and surface wear.
