each with a globular body supporting on a spreading foot, rising to a tall waisted neck extended at the rim to form the spout, set with a loop handle on one side, one decorated with four landscape roundels reserved on a ground of floral scrolls, the other similarly painted with meandering floral scrolls, the neck with stylised tulip sprays, all divided by wavy lappets and cloud scrolls, the handle with scattered floral sprays
Condition
One ewer with its neck, upper half and the scroll end of the handle restored. The neck with a zigzag-shaped hairline crack measuring approx. 12cm. There is a brown glaze line around the shoulder of the ewer. The other ewer with restoration around the area where the handle is connected to the neck. The rim has a chip measuring 0.8x0.3cm. Both ewers with glaze firing imperfections such as burst glaze bubbles and fritting.
