the upper gourd painted in underglaze-blue and red with leafy branches bearing six peaches, the lower gourd covered in a celadon glaze beneath a red and green floral scroll band, the base inscribed with mark reading Shijin Tang zhi (Hall of Generations of Splendour)
Condition
The upper gourd has a 6.5cm diagonal hairline crack. There is a 0.2cm shallow glaze chip just below the rim, and other minute enamel flakes around the floral scroll below the waist. The foot with other shallow chips. Minor glaze firing imperfections such as burst glaze bubbles and iron spots.
