of cylindrical form, the exterior carved with figures on boats in a riverside landscape framed by jagged mountains and pine
Condition
The taper holder is in good condition with the exception of a vertical hairline age crack running up the exterior from the base to the rim, three circa 3cm., hairline age cracks running up from the base and some small spots of staining to the interior of the rim.
It should be noted that the bamboo is of a slightly richer and brighter tone than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
