cast seated in dhyanasana, the left hand rested on the legs in dhyanamudra while the right arm extended in bhumisparsa, wearing a dhoti gathered at the waist and opened at the chest revealing the bare chest, the face with a benevolent expression and flanked by long ears, the hair gathered into an ushnisha
Condition
The Buddha is in good condition with the exception of loss to the tip of one finger on the left hand, a 5 x 6cm., area of casting repair to the lower rear of the body and only traces remain of the original gilt decoration.
