cast seated in lalitasana on a double lotus-base, the right hand raised in vitarkamudra and the left arm lowered resting behind the left leg, each holding curved leafy stems rising to uptala lotuses at the shoulders, dressed in a dhoti embellished with beaded jewellery, crowned with a tiara in front of the high chignon

The gilt-bronze is in good overall condition with the exception of loss to three areas of the inlay, loss of the flower stem (right side as viewed in the catalogue), loss of the footrest for the right leg, and minor areas of rubbing and scratches to the gilded decoration. The base is open.
