塩保朋子

日本當代藝術經常與影響深遠、以村上隆為首的「超扁平」運動劃上等號，或受到奈良美智的可愛風格所影響，被冠上「卡娃依」的外號，甚至讓人聯想到草間彌生的普普畫風。今次拍賣會隆重介紹多位才華橫溢、年輕出眾的日本藝術家，風格有別於以上各個藝術運動的大方向，聚焦於簡約主義、人物肖像、超現實，以至抽象主義。這批年輕藝術家的作品，為日本當代藝術注入新氣象，讓觀眾以全新角度審視既有藝術形式。

一九八一年生於大阪，京都市立藝術大學主修建築，二〇〇四年畢業並獲頒Origin大奬。二〇〇五年，她在 「第六屆 Spiral 獨立藝術節」贏得大奬，並於二〇〇六年舉行兩場個展，包括京都同時代藝廊的「Kyoto Art Map 2006」及東京INAX藝廊的「塩保朋子展」。其後，她於二〇〇八年假座東京SCAI THE BATHHOUSE 進行另一場個展「Cutting Insights」。這位藝術家所參與的群展包括：東京都現代美術館展覽（二〇一〇年）、大阪 Artcourt Gallery的「Playing in Layers」（二〇〇八年）及東京上野之森美術館的「VOCA展 2007」（二〇〇七年）。塩保朋子的作品採用精細的剪紙、熨焊及重複的人手繪畫技巧，並以大自然為創作靈感，大型掛幅呈現富節奏感的流動美態。她在二〇〇八年榮獲五島記念文化賞美術新人賞。
