The sheet has been affixed to the mount with several tabs at each of the four edges. There is a slight undulation to the sheet. There are several small tears at the extreme edges of the sheet, most prominent at the right vertical edge and at the upper horizontal edge, as well as further creasing at the edges of the work, most visible at the corners. There is some very light surface dirt. The watercolour and gouache are strong and stable, and subject to the above, the work appears to be in good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The work is framed and glazed, window mounted and presented in a painted wood and plaster frame.
