The table is in very good condition with the exception of minor surface scratches and wear commensurate with age.

本桌牙條與橫棖之間之矮老，構思取材自建築。Sarah Handler論述，中國北方建築，兩直柱支撐橫樑，上撐蜀柱，樑上抬樑，層層遞升，詳見《Ming Furniture in the Light of Chinese Architecture》，柏克萊，2005年，頁155。作者並述，《魯班經》圖載屋頂建構技術，蜀柱雙榫納入橫樑，出處同上，頁 155 （右上）。
