The solid top table is in good condition with the exception of a replaced apron to one end, minor patching to the two corners and minor surface scratches.

長方案造型簡潔，各式家具中用途最廣之一。觀明清書畫，可見其多種用途，包括供桌、畫案及小几等，輕巧簡約，可隨意搬動至屋中各隅，屬典型式樣，結構線條一目了然，源自建築，舊稱一字桌，因桌形如「一」字而得名，出自明萬曆《魯班經匠家鏡》。

本桌尺寸碩大，獨板案面，可見木材取自上乘黃花梨樹，樹身高大。比較一例，製於十七世紀，尺寸較大，案足及框架較粗，安思遠舊藏，售於香港佳士得2015年3月17日，編號42；另一例售於紐約邦瀚斯2013年9月17日，編號8131；亦可參與本拍賣清十八世紀黃花梨長方案，編號11。
