There is a loss to the finial at the top of the head, and to the two sections of scarf that hang over the arms . There is a chip to the end of the scarf on the figure's left, and knocks to both knees. There are losses to the some of the inlay and some appear to be later replacements. The vase held in the hand is lost and the hole in the hands where the vase would have been inserted has been filled. There is wear to the pigments, a dent in the footrim and light surface wear consistent with age. The baseplate appears to be a replacement.
