the belt hook carved with a dragon head forming the hook and an openwork sinuous chilong on the arched stem grasping a lingzhi sprig in its mouth, the stone with splashes of apple-green, affixed to a stepped wire-inlaid wood bar, set with two tourmaline pebbles
Condition
The belt hook is affixed to the wood scroll weight and has not been removed for examination. Apart for a minute chip to one end of the scroll weight just above the wire-inlaid key-fret band, and some minor age related wear, the piece is in overall good condition.

An unusual feature of this belt hook is that the chilong is striding away from the dragon-head hook.
