The rim of the censer with three small nicks and a very small chip to one foot. There is a deep russet inclusion and an area of opaque mottling on the base and a pale russet inclusion from the rim and another extending from one leg. The surface and handles with expected wear. The cover with one openwork jade panel broken in two pieces and the wood rim with an approximately 1 inch repaired break.
