  • Cloisonne
cast with head lowered and turned to the side, the black body and white breast with gilt cloisons defining the plumage, the wings brightly enameled,  the bird standing on a cylindrical perch atop and waisted pedestal enameled with stylized lotus scrolls on a turquoise ground (4)

Condition

The beak has a restored break. Where the tail meets the body has losses and wear. One of the talons is missing. There is expected wear to the wings. There are dents and loss to the enamels around the base.
