the body of bulbous form rising to a tall cylindrical neck with gently flaring rim, finely painted around the body with a brightly plumed pheasant seating atop pierced rockwork issuing peony blooms with butterflies fluttering above and small white-breasted birds alighting on delicate pink and white flowers, all against a pale yellow ground, the neck with further foliage, fruiting vines and bats, the base set at the center with a single floret, with stand (2)

Condition
There is restoration and overpaint to areas of loss, particularly the rockwork and pheasant, just below the rim and around the base. There are two small star cracks near the gathering of magpies. There are some scratches and wear to the surface.
