the slightly rounded sides resting on three gilt-bronze splayed lobed feet, the interior centred with a hemispherical jadeite, surrounded by a vividly decorated cloisonné enamel ground depicting multi-coloured lotus blossoms wreathed by fanciful foliate scrolls, the underside similarly decorated, all reserved against a bright turquoise ground, the base and rim gilded

The drip-pan is in overall good condition except for expected surface wear to the gilt-bronze rim and base, together with scratches and slight dents, all consistent with age. There are also losses and tarnishing to the enamels, with small touched-up areas. The jadeite centre is later added.
