of baluster form rising from a splayed foot to a waisted neck and broad galleried rim, applied overall with a pale lavender-blue glaze, the rounded footring and the base left unglazed revealing a smooth white biscuit

There are scratches to the surface glaze on the exterior, a few expected firing imperfection including tiny iron spots or pinholes to the interior rim. The base is unglazed. It may have been originally glazed in white and possibly now polished.
